Continental's new IceContact XTRM tire, designed in collaboration with Groupe Touchette, combines all the characteristics needed to face variable winter conditions.
The TriStar studs, produced by Tikka in Finland exclusively for Continental, offer better grip on ice (in all directions) compared to standard round studs. They are made of lightweight aluminium with a length of 11 mm. The stud head promotes better lateral grip on ice compared to directional studs and helps reduce road wear. The Stud Retention Technology uses a coating that is proven to be up to four times stronger and allows for 5% more grip on ice.
Targeting a wide range of vehicles such as full-size compact cars, crossovers as well as sport utility vehicles and pickup trucks, the IceContact XTRM will be available in 46 different sizes for rims from 15 to 22 inches for winter 2020; 45 additional sizes will be available in 2021.

Shipping Throughout Canada
The price of shipping any product from WHEELSCO depends on the location of the recipient, the location the product is shipped from as well as the weight and size of the order. Each order's shipping charges are calculated in real-time of the purchase and prominently displayed before each order is finalized. You can also estimate shipping by adding products to your shopping cart, entering your postal code or zip code, and then clicking the 'calculate’ button. We do require a signature upon delivery.
Free Shipping Promo: Orders $200 and over, shipping to addresses in Canada, qualify for free shipping. (Some oversize/overweight products and shipments to territories with very limited access to our couriers might require extra shipping charges.)
Local Pick-Up & Installation
If you live in GTA (Toronto, ON), you may choose to pick up/install order to our retail store. Pick-up orders are first pre-authorized for the full amount, but only a 10% non-refundable deposit will be charged when the order is processed. The remainder of the balance and any additional labour charges will be completed at the time of installation/pick-up at the retail store. Please call our retail store to get a quote for labour and installation charges. Government issued identification is required for pick-up orders.

Packaging
Wheels: When you are buying wheels only, we use the original boxes, when possible. We then add an additional box on the outside for maximum impact protection. The wheel itself is also wrapped in protective plastic, cloth cover, or foam sheet over the face to protect it from cardboard chafing. Depending on the size, wheel boxes are sometimes strapped together in pairs to provide additional protection during shipping (i.e. an order of 4 wheels will contain 2 tracking numbers).
Tires: Tires will be shipped as-is. Tires may be strapped together in pairs, depending on the size of the tire.
Tire and Wheel Packages: For Canadian orders, if you are buying wheels and tires, the tires are mounted on to the wheels and Hunter Road Force balanced before packaging. Then a sheet of foam is placed over the wheel's face, as well as two layers of cardboard. A single layer of cardboard is put on the back of the wheel, and the entire assembly is strapped together with polypropylene strapping. For an additional charge an OPTIONAL Wheel Installation Kit (NUTS or BOLTS) is included in your package, which comes with either nuts or bolts (depending on vehicle), hub centric rings (if applicable) and valve stems. Hardware is sealed in its own small box and securely attached inside one of the wheel / tire assemblies. A label indicating “Hardware Enclosed” will be affixed to the package that contains the hardware.
